Con Air (1997)
Unpredictable and very well-made action movie with a really perfect cast. It just had no flaws. This is how I imagine a proper MOVIE!
Inception (2010)
Christopher Nolan really nails it! Fantastic direction, perfect music. A film that surely messes with everyone's head. Even in the cinema you could tell how excited everyone was and how would love to see it again. Therefore, I join the opinion that this film is a drug and deserves the highest rating. A full 100% and more.
Pretty Woman (1990)
I love movies with Julia Roberts and I'm even happier when Richard Gere is by her side. A timeless romance that never gets old. It's the "Vuitton" of movies... it lasts for years, everyone loves it and tries to emulate it... in vain. There's only ever one original. Perfect music, script, and style. A film that entertains, makes you cry, and makes you hot... the best!
The Holiday (2006)
Rarely does the USA make a romantic comedy this good. I found the whole movie insanely honest. And for being over 2 hours long, I wasn't bored at all. An amazing foursome complete with charming moments and situations. I really wasn't missing anything. No scene where I thought "Nooo, this should have been different". In a word (and I'm not exaggerating) – PERFECT.
Rocky IV (1985)
I just love strong sports movies with strong guys who dig down to the bottom. I love Rocky!
Date Night (2010)
Bad actors, a stupid plot, and overall not a very funny comedy. I'm glad I'm over it!! Lately I’m wondering if I’m just biased against Mr. Steve Carell, but I don't feel any charisma from him.
Machete (2010)
Some really hot chicks, some charismatic dudes, and a perfect Robert Rodriguez to boot... awesome "gore" and a surprisingly good plot. It was sexy, it had juice...again, again, again!
Just Visiting (2001)
Less humorous than the previous 2 installments of Just Visiting, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. It falls a bit short of the original, though, of course.
What I Have I Hold, Gentlemen...! (1980)
As sometimes happens, the sequel doesn't quite work... but here it's not too hard a fail. I always like to see typical Czech features without the frills. The Bartáčeks and Novaks will get into it again and it will be a romp!
Yago, Pure Passion (2001) (series)
The only reason I started watching Yago was because of Facundo Arana, who I loved for his role in Wild Angel. I'm a glutton for really almost all TV shows... but it didn't work here, even with a lot of effort, because it was really crap. But since I made it through the first few episodes, I'm giving it one star.
