It Might Get Loud (2008)

English For fans of the involved musicians, this must be a blast, because the meeting of three generations is definitely interesting. Even more so because three years after the film was released, The White Stripes broke up. The guitars are great here, the music sounds fantastic, but the documentary still didn't manage to impress me. Sure, if there was someone from the Beatles there, I'd be blown away.

Irrational Man (2015)

English I'm a bit on the fence about this Allen film because it had quite a good setup - not to mention the cast, which I liked - but from a banally beautiful plot, it turned into a too talkative film with a finale that disappointed me. At the end, I sat down and asked myself why I even watched it.

Invictus (2009)

English Clint Eastwood is for me one of the most interesting directors, and he managed to deliver even a film that could be very pathetic and overly sentimental with the necessary dose of pathos, but in such a way that there are no tacky and stupid scenes. Yet this story about sports and politics sounds so unlikely... But it works and you believe it. All the more so because it's true.

Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion (1970)

English An Italian film, which in a truly unpleasant and depressing light shows what elitism is and how it is possible to do essentially anything and get away with it without being punished. It's quite sad that the film will soon be 50 years old, but its essence is still relevant and can still be applied to today's world.

Cross of Honour (2012)

English After a few minutes, I didn't really know what should enchant me about the movie. A few German soldiers and a few British soldiers are forced to not shoot at each other and try to survive together. As their relationship develops, it only shows that a war relationship drama can work. And in this case, it works well.

Interstate 60: Episodes of the Road (2002)

English At first, it's a bit of a strange film, but only after a few minutes does it start to unfold in its beautiful bizarreness, leaving you staring at what you're watching. And you'll stare even harder at how much you enjoy it. Is searching for answers boring? Not when there's a person around who can grant you one wish. And besides that, the main character has a series of fascinatingly twisted encounters.

Interrupted Melody (1955)

English Perhaps the story is slightly - or heavily - predictable, but it's still quite a strong drama about how one singing star rose to the top only to plummet to personal rock bottom. If the finale weren't so unnecessarily positive, I'd be willing to give the film more credit, but as it stands, it still deserves an above-average rating.

In the Basement (2014)

English In the Basement is a film about how people are different. And they are really very different and have different needs or desires, which is brilliantly shown in the film. I'm not one of those who will engage in any of what was presented here, but I certainly don't object to those people who do it here continuing to do so. So why not? The film is very sincere, which is good.

Flaming Star (1960)

English Sure, people went to see this just because Elvis Presley is in it. But the film itself isn't bad at all, and it's not because Elvis is in it. He sings a bit at the beginning, we see him naked from the waist up at the end, but the film itself is quite pleasantly gritty, which I didn't expect. Elvis' role is better written than acted.

In Love We Trust (2007)

English This is a very good story. Just coming up with something like this deserves admiration because even though there's a love triangle, or actually maybe a square, it's not because the people involved want it, but it's because they want to save a child. Even though it's a bit uncertain and unfinished towards the end, it's still good and strong.
