Biography
He was born in Nepal. His debut film, Highway (2012), premiered at Berlinale, becoming the first Nepalese film to be screened at an important international festival, as well as a pioneer for a new wave of Nepalese cinema focused on the conflictive reality of the nation. White Sun premiered in Venice and Toronto, where it won awards. He participated at the Berlinale Talent Labs.
