Estibaliz Urresola has a degree in Audiovisual Communication (UPV-Bilbao), Editing and Editing Theory (EICTV Cuba), a Master in Film Directing and a Master in Film Business (ESCAC). Since 2011 she has written, directed and produced short films including Adri (2013), Los casos gramaticales (2018) and Polvo somos (2020), which received the Audience Award and Silver Biznaga for Best Actress at Malaga Festival. She is also director of the documentary Voces de papel (2016). Her first feature-length fiction is 20.000 especies de abejas. Her short film Cuerdas (Chords) screened at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes.
