English I found the first part funnier and more interesting, but still better than average in Czech comedies. Langmajer enjoys his role, but at times he was borderline awkward, which is to be expected given the premise. I found the passage at the construction site the funniest, I laughed a lot there. It’s neither too bad nor very good, but it did entertain. 55%. ()

English I was pleasantly surprised by the first movie, which made me apprehensive about its sequel. Turns out, my concerns were spot-on. The only twist was swapping out the chauvinist for a feminist. That's about it. All the creative juices seemed to run dry, and everything else just followed the beaten path, making it kind of dull. But hey, at least the creators made sure there was plenty of space for their sponsors to shine. That's key because in today's Czech film scene, the main goal isn't necessarily to entertain the audience but to ensure that product placement is in your face. I get it, money matters, but I believe movies should do more than just be fancy billboards. They should first and foremost entertain, keeping in mind folks who aren't into daytime TV shows. I was close to giving this movie zero stars, but even though Jiří Langmajer's starting to feel like he's everywhere, I gotta hand it to him for those flawlessly choreographed moves. / Lesson learned: Be careful what you wish for — remember the Monkey's Paw.
