English Gamera 2: Attack of the Legion just expands the series further by fighting new monsters, but you shouldn’t really look for much else in it. This is a film that doesn't pretend to be anything but also doesn't aim to charm you with anything. Just another enemy for Gamera and humanity, occasionally featuring some inventive combat elements, but ultimately led by the design of the hostile monsters, which is commendable. You can never get enough of the bugs. ()

English There are fewer boring fights, the female element has been strengthened (the protagonist is, of course, a sensible scientist, without whom the whole of Japan would be in ruins) and, above all, the effects improved to such an extent that it’s almost unbelievable, given the one-year gap. Some of the effects and fiery attractions during the Gamera plasma whipping were admirably beautiful, just pull them up and put them as a background on your monitor :o) ()
