English I really enjoyed Taylor Tomlinson's second special. It's not a coincidence anymore; she's now joined my top three favorite comedians, making it a top four. Her performance was surprisingly dark yet extraordinarily funny, with an unbelievably calm delivery. If I were to compare her to the psychopathic Bill Burr, it would be like listening to a medium-sized dog turned up to max volume, and then switching to soothing whale songs. It was intelligent, chill, and I really enjoyed looking at Taylor Tomlinson's big head (her words, not mine). / Lesson learned: When one of your parents dies of cancer, you can make money from it in the future. 4*+ ()

English A step down from the two years older Taylor Tomlinson: Quarter-Life Crisis. Here Taylor Tomlinson tries to reach surprisingly far thematically, but in doing so harms her greatest strength, namely a seemingly cynical handling of relationship themes. She has always been honest with these, synchronized with the audience, and empathetic. Now, maybe because of an alignment with the darkest of humor, her indifference and malice towards others and herself shine through. ()
