Be Cool is two-hour, star-studded comedy full of jokes, three of which are actually funny. It’s true that a commercially successful comedy doesn’t need anything more than stars – see the Wayans brothers’ hugely successful bullshit in the U.S. (the Scary Movie franchise, White Chicks). In this case, however, it’s the sequel of a quality movie with characters and a playful plot that, though less embarrassing, is just about as funny and exciting as Men in White...

Before Law Abiding Citizen, F. Gary Gray directed a star-studded comedy that has some funny moments, but overall doesn't pull off much, due to its long running time. John Travolta is excellent though, and The Rock as a gay bodyguard was hilarious.

The plot got boring fifteen minutes into the movie, the character of Linda Moon really got on my nerves, and the cast seemed like they thought they were making another Pulp Fiction movie. The film was just pathetic. Two stars for Vince Vaughn's performance and Dwayne Johnson's right eyebrow.
