I have a pretty good knowledge of the developments in war-time Finland, but I have never heard of the Swedish aid. I found the film all the more interesting for that reason. The creators approached the subject in the right way, created a very decent drama against the background of the war, and even though the story wasn’t exactly action-packed, I couldn't tear myself away from it. The merger of the Suomi and Tre kronor teams certainly scored points with me.
