Cindy moves right in and the house is located right next to Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko), a down-on-his-luck father. Cindy soon discovers a dreaded secret about the house and she is comforted by Tom who is watching his children for the weekend. As soon as the two become more then just friends, a huge storm rolls on in and hits the town. Tom discovers a giant hole in the ground and an alien Tripod emerges from its depths. Meanwhile, Cindy finds the soul of a tortured boy living inside the house who tells her he knows the secret on how to defeat the aliens. But before he gives it too her, he vanishes. The only way to figure out the mystery is to find the boy's father. (Disney / Buena Vista)

English Production design like out of a Czech TV play, horrendous actors, zero entertainment and absolute bottom of the barrel from the formerly funny David Zucker. The beginning doesn’t look all that bad. Until about five minutes in, when the “screenwriters" think up a supposedly hilarious way of getting rid of Charlie Sheen. That is the moment when it becomes crystal clear what wavelength Scary Movie 4 is on. If only that dumb toilet humor worked, but here we don’t even get one single gag that is at least slightly funny. Where are those good old parodies where the makers understood that simply re-filming a scene from a famous movie with somebody falling on their ass just isn’t enough to make a good one. And they’re even making a part five... ()

English The start wasn't bad, and I admit that I laughed in some parts of the line that parodies Nenávist, but what about the rest? Towards the end, not even a smallest smile appeared on my face, and I have seen all the original films. Sometimes the fault was in me (see the absolutely over the top Million Dollar Baby), but mostly in the dull and toilet humor script. Is this from Zucker? I don't believe it. ()

English A total waste of time. The first film just used the idea that the original Scream trilogy offered in its own way (although it didn't work), the second film was retarded, while the third was a bit better (if they had based it even more on Signs it would actually resemble a movie) but also downright useless. This film is exactly the same. And yet again all they had to do was to try to parody The Village as the main aspect. ()

English If half of the jokes in a movie are based on just banging your head with all sorts of different objects, there is something wrong. ()

English Despite having some scenes that are good, and jokes that are fairly well-executed, I still cannot do otherwise and have to say it's below average. The humor definitely isn't laugh-out-loud throughout and it can't really be said that this is a smart parody. It's a shame. They all think that taking scenes, copying them, and just making them slightly different is enough. It's not. It still needs to have a sense of humor. ()
