English A mediocre and the worst season so far (because it’s badly written), saved at the last possible moment by the double final episode, which on the other hand is one of the best ever, which, considering the quality of memorable episodes from previous seasons, is no small feat. ()

English Season 6 almost buried the series for me. I’m saying almost because I've made it through six seasons, so I won't be a pussy and I'll make it through the seventh. Okay, to be fair, I enjoyed Season 4 quite a bit. Season 5 was still alright, but what to say of Season 6? The biggest problem was that the writers rejected any kind of logic. If something doesn't make sense to me, I'm hardly going to like it. They didn’t bother with storytelling either. It was just about the need to shock at any cost. But not even that worked, which it couldn’t, given how predictable everything was. ()

English Season 6 has more than one superlative. It is probably the darkest, most cinematic and visually captivating. Unfortunately, the middle is more unnecessarily tactical and boring than ever, and if it had five episodes, it would be just right. This, of course, would be obviously financially suitable, so the viewer has to be stretched a bit. What bothers me here, given that it's been repeated several times, is the trick of making the last two episodes gripping and leading into the next season. However, even though it's a bit cynical and for effect at times, it's a fantastic piece of filmmaking and even more interesting is the fact that we love GoT first and foremost because of the perfectly fleshed out characters. And we'll gobble up the next series like raspberries despite all those ills. ()
