In 1931, Nucky joins Sally Wheet in Cuba, and with a U.S. Senator in tow, forges ties with Bacardi Rum with the hope of Prohibition's repeal in the U.S. While working on Wall Street, Margaret finds herself in the hot seat when her boss, facing an internal investigation, decides his own future. The first episode of the fifth season was so far the biggest disappointment for me. Unlike previous seasons, it lacked continuity with the previous plot, the jump was too big, whereas before even the smallest details of the destinies of peripheral characters were resolved, now Mr. Rothstein just disappears and hardly anyone mentions him, etc. Additionally, I was quite bored.
