This summer has been exceptionally blissful in the Dunphy house, Alex is away on a humanitarian trip and the rest of the family is getting along swimmingly, but when Alex comes home, there is an immediate shift in mood. Elsewhere, Mitch and Cam have returned from their honeymoon and Mitch is acclimating to real life much quicker than the still lovey-dovey Cameron. The first episode of the sixth season has really disappointed me with its altered dubbing, Jay's parrot will never sound so perfect again, and Phil... His wisdom doesn't have the same impact on me anymore. The plot had its flaws, but Gloria's fight for Jay's elegance was well done. // "Manny, don't put Colombians on ice!" / "We are a family of arsonists, poisoners, and online prostitutes."
