Dede is getting remarried and Manny convinces the family to take the train up to the wedding. Jay could not be more ecstatic that Dede has moved on for good but his overenthusiasm might come back and bite him later. Claire and Mitchell work on their toast while Phil and Cam geek out over their favorite author who is also on the train. I liked the great train episode so much that not even Cameron bothered me in it. This was an approach that the creators could have used more often in the seventh season, I wouldn't have to lower my rating at least. I can't help it, but the plot with the book reminded me of an episode called "The Dictionary" from the third season of the series "Black Mamba". (That wasn't criticism but a compliment.) // "Well, Jennifer Lopez goes for a hundred, and yet sometimes I pretend she's my pillow."
