Brutal humor and cynicism were purring with delight in me. Filmmakers often use this theme too frequently for emotional manipulation, so I took the episode as a refreshing breath of fresh air needed in the general staleness. The top quote became clearly the sentence, "And do you know that I have cancer?", and the phone calls with the doctor were flawless.
