While the events in Kattegat didn't really appeal to me, I truly enjoyed the events in Francia and England. Rollo's storyline managed to make me laugh again, Aethelwulf's rescue mission to Mercia provided some decent action, and there are also intrigues happening in both places again, so I rate it five stars.

Ragnar is musing too much, Rollo is a joker, but things are happening in England. The son of the king in the best action scene of the whole series so far – raw, brutal, authentic and brilliantly scored. Just brilliant.
