English In the tenth episode, I positively rated the fact that the creators finally decided to eliminate some important characters, but the execution didn't impress me too much. The way they "chopped up" the battle with shots of what preceded it was alright, but those dumb visions and strange states of some characters got on my nerves. BTW- Halfdan's stupid ending, they really couldn't come up with anything better? He could have brutally stabbed himself in the stomach while shaving, for example. Oh, and I shouldn't forget, Ivar is really going to stir things up, I also have to check that out. ()

English The promised battle for Norway didn’t work out, it was cluttered, stilted and unnecessarily full of annoying, sometimes surreal flashbacks. The creators, incapable of putting together a proper battle, limit themselves to mindlessly hacking infantrymen with the swords and axes of the main characters. Boring to watch, though of course solidly crafted, it's highlighted a bit by juicy details like a hand being amputated in the shot when Lagertha walks past the wounded, etc. The question remains, when will the grand finale really happen and will the cards be shuffled?
