Plots(1)

Selfish, egocentric real estate agent Oren (Michael Douglas)'s whole life changes when he gets an unexpected knock at the door: his estranged son arrives at the house with a daughter he knew nothing about, and he unassumingly takes on the role of granddad. Realising he has no idea how to take care of a child, he accepts the help of his caring neighbour Leah (Diane Keaton). As Oren slowly learns how to love and care for another human being, his self-centred lifestyle begins to take a backseat. (Koch Media)

English No country for young men. I hope my retirement will be as leisurely, undramatic, painless and soothingly predictable as this film. At the same time, however, I hope that it will have more humour and less lounge singing by Diane Keaton. Our parents and grandparents deserve more imaginative films than this; Diane Keaton, Michael Douglas and Rob Reiner deserve a more inspiring screenplay. 40% ()

English A cute, inoffensive American movie with Michael Douglas, who portrays a punk who likes nobody and at the same time is loved by nobody. But his behavior over time arouses compassion in some of the neighbors and so with the emergence of this compassion emotions are created, which can fill the pleasantly passing hour and a half of the movie, which reminded me too much of Something’s Gotta Give with a lack of scenes worthy of remembering. English A classic American comedy of average quality, where if it weren't for truly great actors, you would probably easily overlook it. Douglas is fantastic in every role, as is Keaton. It's just a shame that it's all so predictable and elicits emotions from you exactly as you would expect. If it weren't for the sentimentality, it would definitely be better. ()
