It's sometime in the near future. HAL was living happily with Kurumi until he passed away from a plane accident. Kurumi who is devastated by the loss, starts to shut herself from the outside world. As a part of her therapy, an android robot Q01 which looks exactly like HAL is sent to her home and to live together. Kurumi's initial reaction was rejection towards HAL.
