English Pilot: Screw Twitter! Not great, not terrible. Whenever The Rock appears on screen, this series rises two quality levels. There should be more humor (I can’t see almost any comedy) and a sturdy plot line, but it’s just about watchable. ()

English This is a type of TV show that in my opinion fits really well into the American setting. I think it will hardly be successful in Europe, as it’s set in the world of American football. It also looks as if The Rock had wanted to produce something that would knock out all the critics. Well, I didn’t find it interesting at all. ()

English There wasn’t much point in me watching this series. The takeaway message was that intelligence is not necessary for team sports (with honorable exceptions like rugby), that success is measured by luxury homes and sports cars, that women around rich athletes only desire men who are intelligent and tolerant, and that black men commemorate the days of slavery by wearing heavy chains, except I already knew all that. I found almost all the characters extremely unrelatable. Unlike Barney Stinson, I'm not a fan of fake curves, of which there was a massive amount. I consider American football the dumbest herd sport, and Dwayne Johnson certainly didn't top his performance in Be Cool. What I liked was that the runtime was just right, and I was pleased by the appearance of Arielle Kebbel and Richard Schiff, who will forever be Agent Fisher to me. ()
