The pilot episode of the first season pleasantly surprised me, even though I was just getting familiar with the story and characters. There was always something happening, so I definitely wasn't bored. The creators of the reality show had to get rid of all scruples for the sake of viewership/profit, so in the end, I got a very nice handbook for both beginning and advanced manipulators.
