An excellent prehistoric treat starring dinosaurs in love. Fun, playful, original, and the final twist with the cat is brilliant.

Ideas, playfulness, wit... Pixar. Moreover, unlike Hawaiian Vacation, this short doesn't feel like an ordinary cut scene, but is nicely self-contained, with a whole new story and a host of new characters (the Christmas cat angel on the tree is the best), and I'd say it's watchable even by someone who (for reasons unimaginable) knows nothing about Toy Story.

This animated series just always gets me. It captures the beauty of childhood, a time when we play with toys that are more than just expensive objects to us. They are our companions. And here it is beautifully shown again, plus it is sometimes really funny and surprisingly it doesn't lack a quite original idea even this time.
