Bojár Kálmán speaks for the rights of men in the radio program of the Association for Families and would like the women to stay in the kitchen. As a result of his speech several women are fired from the bank. They make a scene at Bojár's house. The jobless Kovács Manci leads the revenge campaign. The bank tries to bribe Manci. She demands a husband from Bojár. In the meantime the plain Krakauer is trying to win Lacika Ödön's heart. All the characters meet at the traditional Annas' ball in Balatonfüred. Manci succeeds in making Bojár jealous by pretending to be engaged to Sziráky. Finally, however, she becomes Bojár's fiancée. (official distributor synopsis)
