Bojár Kálmán speaks for the rights of men in the radio program of the Association for Families and would like the women to stay in the kitchen. As a result of his speech several women are fired from the bank. They make a scene at Bojár's house. The jobless Kovács Manci leads the revenge campaign. The bank tries to bribe Manci. She demands a husband from Bojár. In the meantime the plain Krakauer is trying to win Lacika Ödön's heart. All the characters meet at the traditional Annas' ball in Balatonfüred.
