Season 3 (2019) (S03)

English After finishing the third season, I have twenty-six episodes of this series behind me and I'm pleasantly surprised. Instead of a decreasing tendency, it just keeps getting better and better. I really like how the creators put a lot of work even into minor characters, so that they too are well fleshed out. The script wasn’t far from perfect, the atmosphere of the sixties was almost tangible, drama and comedy were perfectly intertwined, and now all I can do is look forward to the next season (for who knows how long). Strike Up the Band (2019) (S03E01)

English The warm-up at the airbase before a tour around the States was extremely amusing, reaffirming my belief that being a woman has its advantages when it comes to performing for soldiers. ()

It's the Sixties, Man! (2019) (S03E02)

English I must say, I've been thoroughly entertained. From Abe Weissman as a left-wing activist to those nostalgic nods to Dallas with Rose, every moment hit the mark. Even the scenes in the gym had me chuckling, and the interactions with the Chinese were hilarious. This series is just brilliantly written. ()

Panty Pose (2019) (S03E03)

English In most cases, series tend to decline in quality as they progress through seasons, but with Mrs. Maisel, I find the opposite to be true. The third season had me hooked from the very first episode, and my enjoyment knows no bounds. While I've previously lauded the writing and various characters in my earlier reviews, I realized I overlooked two supporting characters who bring so much joy to the show. So, let me take a moment to commend Zelda and Mrs. Moskowitz, along with their talented actresses, for their excellent performances. They truly shine in their roles. ()

Hands! (2019) (S03E04)

English The creators have completely won me over with this show. I was in stitches watching the Maisels navigate their new home. And all that chaos in Vegas... ()

It's Comedy or Cabbage (2019) (S03E05)

English I gave this episode a weaker five stars, mainly due to the frequent and lengthy musical numbers that felt somewhat repetitive. While I appreciate their role in setting the period atmosphere, it became a bit tiresome to feel like I was watching a music video three times in one episode. However, the unfolding events in Florida and Zelda's transition to the dark side were executed perfectly. 5*- ()

Kind of Bleau (2019) (S03E06)

English I hope to get to watch a Czech comedy as soon as possible, in which one of our commercial television stations will be involved in its production (preferably Prima, they make "genius", exhaustive content that reading them would make Lev Nikolajevič Tolstoj feel like a second-rate columnist), so I can have a good laugh from the bottom of my heart once again, because I have already exhausted all my positive evaluations. This time, as well, I had a great time and had to go all out. ()

Marvelous Radio (2019) (S03E07)

English This episode fell slightly short compared to its predecessors, but it still earned a five from me. If the focus had solely been on radio and theater, I might have settled for four stars, but the Weissman family's storyline saved the day, despite the disturbing violence against a child. 5*- ()

A Jewish Girl Walks Into the Apollo… (2019) (S03E08)

English Once again, the creators opted not to make the season finale a grand spectacle, but instead stayed true to their unique style, delivering a finale that evoked a range of emotions without resorting to emotional manipulation. They did an excellent job, bringing the great third season to an excellent conclusion. ()
