I'll take it in order - the topic is great (a princess with a tendency for alcoholism and gambling, with a personal demon and a bonus elf), Matt Groening can't disappoint, some lines were really great, and I can recognize Matt Berry's voice from The IT Crowd anywhere, but... Everything I mentioned was fine, but the overall didn't work as I expected. The episode had some dull moments and I only laughed a few times, mostly I just smiled, and even that wasn't too often. I was hoping for a greater punchline.
