The film follows Kyle Moore (Ross Lynch), an unpopular high school student struggling to adapt after moving to a new town following the separation of his parents. However, after coming across a magic app, Kyle soon finds his life is turned around when all of his posts on social media start coming true. (Entertainment in Video)

I miss high school, so I have a soft spot for this kind of teen crap, and this movie also has a nice original plot where the main character starts a new school as an outsider, but thanks to a new app on his cell phone he has the ability to wish for anything, which is a lot of fun in places, and the gradual path to glory to the most popular dude in the whole school was very enjoyable and the dethroning of the previous "king" was gratifying. Cute, entertaining, funny with fine characters (dancing like Bruno Mars or playing hockey like Wayne Gretzky are among the best scenes of the film). I had great fun. 80%

I had zero fun watching the film. The humor was pathetic or even cringeworthy and when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the film proved me wrong. The creators seemed to have used every possible cliché, sticking to the standard high school comedy formula, so there was nothing they could have possibly surprised me with and I was grateful for the FFW button (especially during the terrible musical numbers).
