It's a shame that the creators didn't manage to successfully follow up on the first season, the penultimate episode brought a lot of conversations about nothing, the undead constantly walked away somewhere and had to be sought out, so I couldn't help but remember the TV show Walking Dead, where there was again too much aimless walking in the woods.
