3DD!3–Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga(2024)
Jeoffrey–My Oni Girl(2024)
A good movie, but not exactly groundbreaking or unforgettable. It was still a pleasant watch with relatively likable characters, both the main duo and some of the supporting ones they encountered along the way. The pace was a bit uneven at times, but the animation and music were nice. The story was decent, but for me,…
(more)POMO–Being Maria(2024)
A young, novice actress’s whining that shooting an intense scene for a butter commercial with Bernardo Bertolucci and Marlon Brando ruined her life. Without mentioning that it also made here a global star (which she definitely didn’t want). The first half of the film with Matt Dillon as Brando provides an interesting…
(more)POMO–Motel Destino(2024)
A sex-packed would-be thriller/drama with a dysfunctional romantic motif. When the main characters aren’t having sex, donkeys are mating in the yard or one of the dozen couples or threesomes are going at it in a by-the-hour hotel, where half of the film takes place. And if not that, at least the sound of intercourse…
(more)After nine years, the spin-off prequel to the fourth installment of the established franchise from a nearly 80-year-old geezer... If it weren't for the Mad Max franchise and the old-timer George Miller, one would have expected a mess. But that series is Mad Max and that old man is the visionary Miller, or once again,…

EvilPhoEniX–Gold(2016)
The film reminds me more of The Big Short than The Wolf of Wall Street. It wasn't a bad film, Matthew McConaughey's performance is excellent and the overall idea is definitely intriguing, towards the end there is the expected stuffiness and trouble and only then does the film start to get interesting. For one viewing…
(more)Quite bullshit, this is. Quite star-studded, but the potential was buried somewhere in the Cayman Islands. xXx is pretty much over the top with its action, even for me, and it’s not that well filmed. The cinematography is very abrupt and the editing spoils more or less all the action scenes. Tony Jaa is perhaps in his…

A very enjoyable comedy about two mature sisters who throw a party like they did when they were young and invite all their former school friends. The party lasts almost an hour and it's the biggest party since Project X, no drugs or alcohol are wasted here, too bad the sex wasn't so sweet. The biggest surprise is John…

A pretty gritty, raw and unpleasant crime drama full of drugs, prostitutes and Albanian gorillas you do not want to have anything to do with. This film is not exactly my cup of tea and at two hours running time I got bored a few times, but once it came to slicing the bread there was plenty to watch. Brutal as fuck in…

Definitely one of the best films from the world of gastronomy. Bradley Cooper as the arrogant chef was excellent, although I wouldn't want a chef like that even if they paid in gold. The upscale Parisian restaurant was breathtaking, you could eat there from the ground. Literally a gourmet experience. I enjoyed it. 80%.

An excellent flashback to Fury Road. It lacks Max Rockatansky, it lacks the frenetic pace, but the story is more substantial. Furiosa explains the laws of the imagined world. George Miller seems to realize that he skipped over a lot of things and presented them as fact without showing them. He describes a fragile…
