The first episode of the series pleasantly surprised me. I don't expect much from today's horror shows, as creators usually rely on a series of cheap jump scares and the result reflects that, but here there was a change. Instead of silly jump scares, the French focused on building a tense atmosphere, and if I may speak for myself, they succeeded.
