Musso & Frank (S02E04)

The bulk of each episode is largely unfamiliar to me until I recognize bits and pieces of the source material in the heavily modified plot. It makes me remember how much I enjoyed The Crossing, which lifts my spirits momentarily, though they tend to dip again soon after. Despite this, the lingering good feeling keeps it solidly above average, but... While I appreciate the need for stronger female roles (and I've long admired Mimi Rogers), I can't shake the notion that it might have worked better with more focus on Haller. Nevertheless, it's only the fourth episode, leaving ample room for potential improvement. / Lesson learned: Heading out for drinks with friends? Always take barf bags with you in case you find yourself in a holding cell. (29/01/2024)
