Melanie Griffith stars as Billie Dawn, a Las Vegas showgirl whose lack of sophistication embarrasses her Washington, D.C., millionaire boyfriend (John Goodman). He, in turn, hires a handsome and well-educated journalist (Don Johnson) to help smarten her up. In no time at all, the millionaire gets much more than he bargains for!
