The Boys once again delivered a gruesomely entertaining spectacle with an epic showdown of assholes (looking at you, The Deep and A-Train). While I've always felt filmmakers could do without those drawn-out dialogues before death, that wasn't the main reason for my mixed feelings about this episode. What really annoyed me was Queen Maeve suddenly playing the role of deus ex machina, despite being one of those limited by gravity.
